Hey 4F'o9! It's been long since we've really seen each other. I thought of our different days like Guai Kia Days, Fruit days and all. I really miss you guys a lot. Can we use this blog to share our daily lives with each other? At least it'll be a bond between us. How can we let go of our once-so-strong bond. I really hope to see you guys soon. Perhaps, the next 4f outing. Come peeps let's share the love. :)
Phyllan.

Hello everyone! We are nearing the big
Os every
single second that passed by!
ARE
YOU CURRENTLY LIKE...
THAT???For those who had studied hard just now and
escaped to check on the class blog, here is some
quick tips to help your
cramped up brain
relax and your
tensed up body to
relax (HEY good way to remove those muscles scrunched up that would easily form your
wrinkles in time to come..)
From
http://zeniamai.wordpress.com/2008/03/30/5-quick-ways-to-de-stress-yourself/1. Look at something
green. After long hours of starring at your computer screen, looking at
green plants have been scientifically proven to be relaxing for the eyes.
2. If you experience those days wherein you just feel
utterly tired and unfocused, well, take a quick walk. I usually walk to the nearest star mart and buy myself a refreshing pineapple juice.
3. Listen to your
favorite music. I do this at work. Every morning after checking my email, I usually go to this online streaming site called radioblogclub. I have bookmarked some of my favorite playlist so that it would be very for me to find it. Whenever, I can’t handle the pressure or I feel so stressed out already, I always sing my heart out and at the top of my lungs.
4. Drink
water. We need to replace the water lost from sweating, tears and the body’s heating and cooling system on a continuous basis. Dehydration is associated with decreased energy, increased hunger, tiredness, and aging wrinkled skin. In addition to actually drinking water, you can eat more water-based foods, like fresh fruits and vegetables for hydration.
5. Cuteoverload.com. This is my recent destresser. Cuteoverload is a blog that contains cute videos and pictures on animals and anything that’s cute.

From
http://www.healthywomen.org/articles/stress_nwhrc.htmlStress-Buster #1:
- Stand up. Put your fists on your lower back at the beltline, with your elbows pointing back.
- Keep your legs fairly straight and arch your shoulders back.
- Press your fists lightly into your lower back and your head will go back.
- Blow out. As you do, imagine you are blowing out the stress of the day. "We tend to hold stress in our lower back," Mr. Cotton says.
Stress-Buster #2:
- Sit in a chair.
- Inhale as you push your heels down into the floor. Push your back into the seatback of the chair
- Hold that tension for a moment, then relax and exhale.
- Inhale again and squeeze the thigh muscles tight. Hold, then relax and exhale.
- Place your palms together in front of you. Inhale as you push them in, then relax and exhale.
- Breathe in as you tighten your abdominal muscles, pushing your lower back into the chair.
- Blow out as you release the muscles and relax.
- If you have time, you can continue this exercise with other muscle groups.
Stress-Buster #3:
- Place your fingertips on your chin.
- Inhale as you push your chin in and tilt your head forward.
- Exhale as you release your chin and relax your muscles. Mr. Cotton recommends this as a good stretch for the neck that helps release tension.

Lastly, from
http://health.yahoo.com/tips/all-about-you-3-quick-ways-to-destress-your-head/realage--4964.htmlQuick FixChronic stress can destroy your sleep patterns, boost the rate at which your arteries age, and turn your immune-system function down too low. But you can quickly rein in stress with these tricks:
- Scrunch your face tightly for 15 seconds, then release. Repeat several times. Repetitive contraction and relaxation helps release tension you’re holding above the neck.
- Breathe in, lick your lips, and then blow out slowly. The cool air helps you refocus and slow down. Learn the right way to breathe for better oxygen saturation.
- Cork it. Hold a wine cork vertically between your teeth (some people may first need to slice a bit off the top before it will fit). A gentle bite on the cork will force your jaws -- a major tension-holder -- to relax. (Skip this exercise if you have this medical condition.)

Follow these ways, quick and GET BACK TO WORK AGAIN? If you feel too tired and worn out even after destressing, i reckon you better go to
sleep. Naps do help relax your body and as Mrs Chan says, helps you remember better :)
Dont be so stressed! Take good care;
Joan :)
